Observing these male cheetahs in Botswana was the most incredible and magical sighting. As luck would have it, two people in the group had a flight change so we had to leave camp on our last morning even earlier than usual and we were out in the reserve at a place and time we wouldn't have ordinarily been. As we came around a corner, we caught sight of these two cheetah brothers. It was a moment of perfect serendipity. Not only did we see the first wild cheetahs I've ever seen but we had the glorious, warm, glowing light as the sun began to rise, and even better, we had the whole experience to ourselves! It was simply stunning. The whole time we spent with them is stamped on my heart and archived in my memories. It is something I will never forget.
